Advocacy

Working Together For Change

In addition to providing information and services Springwell is committed to offering comprehensive, objective information to help elders, individuals with disabilities and their families advocate on their own behalf, and to advocate on behalf of those who cannot do so for themselves.

Elected officials and government agencies have the power to implement policies that assist families. A caring community of advocates can be very effective in educating governmental leaders about the effects aging and disability can have on individuals, pushing for changes that ensure these individuals receive care necessary to remain living at home safely and independently. Springwell offers many opportunities for concerned individuals to get involved in advocacy campaigns.

Advocacy Partners

Advocacy Partners is a network of concerned individuals that contact elected officials about the impact of aging, disabilities and caregiving on their constituents. Advocacy Partners members also respond to state and federal public policy alerts.

Join Springwell's Advocacy Partners or learn more about this group by sending an e-mail to advocacy@springwell.com.
